Quick Guide: Getting Started

Welcome to Horizon Finance — your platform for consolidated financial data, reporting, and cash management across funds, organizations, and entities.

This guide will walk you through the essential first steps to get you up and running fast.

🔑 1. Logging In and Navigating the Platform

✅ Log In

• Go to: https://fam.fincovi.com/

  

• Enter your credentials and click Sign In

🧭 Understand the Structure

• Organization / Fund Level = Central admin, global settings, master data

• Entity Level = Local accounts, transactions, reports

• Use the left-hand sidebar to switch between levels

🧾 2. Generate Financial Statements

1. Go to an Entity → Financials

2. Select statement type (e.g., Income Statement (Actual))

   

3. Choose a Month End and Period

4. Click Generate

💡 Tip: Use the Month = 1 filter if you want to add commentary.

💬 3. Add Commentary to Reports

1. Generate a statement (see step above)

2. Click into any Comments box next to a line item

   

3. Type your note and click away — it autosaves

🆘 4. Get Help

• Click the Help icon (speech bubble) in the bottom right

  

• Raise a ticket for:

  • Tax rate requests

  • Technical support

  • Training queries
